Business Built to Combine

Most business majors ask you to specialize right away. This one is built to pair — a full business foundation plus 18 credits of electives, so you can add a second major, a minor, or a non-business passion without adding a year to your degree.

Designed for students headed toward dual majors, non-corporate roles, or a family business — a broad, trustworthy business literacy shaped by a Christian view of work and stewardship.

Why This Major? Built to pair with what you're already pursuing:

Choose Your Focus

The Business Studies major is the same 18 credits for every student, but the last 9 are yours to choose — a light-touch way to lean toward the direction you're already headed.

Double the Standard

Since this major carries 18 open elective credits, it's one of the most common ways Crown students build a second major, a minor, or a non-business emphasis without adding time to their degree.

Here’s Your Path

This is the same plan your advisor works from — General Core, Business Core, and your Sport Management major, semester by semester. Degree plan

Faculty Lead, Crown Leadership Institute

Professor Oliver leads Crown’s Leadership Institute, which exists to guide leadership through biblically-based management and governance.

He advises Business Studies students to grow in leadership wherever God places them, whether that’s a corner office, a nonprofit board, or a family business.

“You don’t need to specialize in everything to lead well. You need a broad enough foundation to be trusted in whatever room you walk into.”
