St. Bonifacius, MN, April 15, 2026 —
Crown College today announced significant progress toward the development of a new Worship and Student Life Center, a transformational campus facility designed to serve students and strengthen the spiritual and student life of the college for generations to come.
Through extraordinary generosity from friends and partners, Crown College has secured approximately $15 million in commitments, representing over 80% of the projected cost of the facility. This progress places the initiative within reach of full funding as it prepares to move into its next phase of fundraising and planning.
This momentum has been accelerated by a transformational lead gift from The Lord’s Bountiful Blessings Foundation. It represents the largest capital gift in the college’s history. The foundation’s generosity, along with other significant leadership gifts, has helped position the project for this pivotal moment.
“This is a defining moment for Crown,” said President Dr. Andrew C. Denton. “We are not finished, but we are within reach. What has brought us this far has been remarkable leadership generosity by God’s grace, and now we have the opportunity to invite the broader Crown community to help complete something that will impact students for decades.”
The planned 30,000 square foot Worship and Student Life Center will serve as a central hub of campus life and a front door for student engagement. Designed to be open 24/7, the facility will include space for corporate worship, student gatherings, discipleship, informal connection, and community building — creating an environment where students can grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and experience a deep sense of belonging. The facility will also support the college’s Student Development division, enhancing areas such as student life, campus ministry, and student success by creating space for engagement, formation, and connection outside the classroom.
The project builds on a season of significant campus investment at Crown College, where 13 major projects totaling over $23 million have been completed in the past four years, reflecting the institution’s continued growth and commitment to student success.
College leaders emphasized that the project reflects both a response to current student needs and a vision for the future.
“Our current spaces are limited in fully supporting the kind of community and spiritual engagement we believe is possible for our students,” Denton said. “This center represents an investment not just in facilities, but in lives, creating a place where students can encounter God, build lasting relationships, and be equipped for a lifetime of impact.”
Denton added that the project reflects Crown’s long-standing identity and mission. “Crown has often been known as the ‘Miracle Campus,’ and this is another example of the Lord’s incredible provision, providing in ways that remind us this is ultimately His work, not ours.”
The Worship and Student Life Center also advances Crown College’s vision to be the Midwest’s boldly Christian college, supporting its commitments to Christ-centered formation, academic excellence, and a lifelong, authentic community.
The project also carries historical significance as Crown’s first major capital initiative of this scale since 2001, marking a new season of growth and forward momentum. Pending final approvals and construction timelines, the college anticipates completion of the Worship and Student Life Center in Fall 2027.
Crown College plans to enter a public phase of the campaign in the coming months, focusing on inviting alumni, parents, friends, and those inspired by this initiative, to help complete the project.
“This is more than a fundraising effort,” Denton added. “It is an invitation. We want our entire community to be able to say, ‘I was part of that.’”
