How do students pay loans off?
ANYBODY CAN DO IT
Meet Thomas and Laura. They both graduated with just about $20,000 of debt each. They moved for Thomas to be a youth pastor in Washington while making about $35,000 a year. They made paying off loans a priority, and despite having a new baby, having to purchase a car, and moving into a more expensive residence, they were able to pay off the $40,000 in just about 2 ½ years, instead of the 10-year plan they were on.
This couple focused on paying off student loans and decided not to live lavishly so that they could become debt-free quickly. We know that taking out loans can be intimidating, and this is just one example of how students have reasonably paid off student loans. However, if you can make smart financial decisions, a college loan doesn’t have to live with you for the rest of your life.
