PSEO On-Campus
- On-Campus PSEO Program
- Eligibility
- Deadlines
The PSEO program allows 11th and 12th-grade qualified Minnesota students to enroll in FREE college courses that earn them credits simultaneously for both their high school graduation requirements and a college degree.
On-Campus Courses
- Tuition and books are FREE for MN Residents.
- We offer a large selection of core curriculum courses taught by credentialed faculty.
- Our classes have a low student to instructor ratio.
- On-Campus students are also eligible to take online classes in addition to on-campus classes.
- See our Course Catalog for core curriculum and detailed degree requirements.
- The PSEO student and parent or guardian are responsible to work closely with their high school counselor to ensure that the courses taken at Crown College will fulfill their high school graduation requirements.
- Each student will be assigned a PSEO academic advisor who will provide academic and registration assistance.
Residential Option
- PSEO students who are 17-years or older can apply to live on-campus, but will be placed on a waitlist until all of our degree-seeking students have been placed in housing. On-campus housing will require room and board payment.
- To inquire about this option please email housing@crown.edu.
A.A Degree
- PSEO students can earn an A.A. degree in 2 years. For more information, please contact a PSEO/DE Advisor at dualenroll@crown.edu.
To be eligible for On-Campus PSEO student status, students must:
- Be in 11th or 12th grade
- Have a 3.25 GPA
- Must be a MN Resident
- Complete a spiritual life essay as part of the application process
- No tests requirements
- We strongly advise applicants to take their maturity level into account as well. Students should be driven and self-disciplined to attend class consistently and fulfill course requirements. They should also be prepared to participate in class discussions and work closely with instructors and program personnel.
Crown admits a total of 70 PSEO on-campus students, roughly 35 new students each year.
- Application deadline: March 1st
- We have limited on-campus PSEO spots. We encourage students who are interested in on-campus status to complete the application process in early February.
- A list of on-campus PSEO course offerings will be provided to the student upon acceptance (or when finalized, prior to registration day)
- Upon acceptance, students will receive detailed information regarding their Crown account and registering for classes.
