CROWN 30 classes are offered in person at The Porch on the Christ Community Church campus in Omaha, NE, located in the Old Mill off 108th and Dodge Streets or can be taken fully online.

Course List
Explore foundations of leadership in context of Scripture, especially in intercultural settings. This course will help you develop as an ethical leader who is aware and responsive to the cultural context in which you serve.
Learn to study the Bible for yourself with confidence. You’ll gain practical experience in interpreting the Bible in this hands-on course, applying a variety of exegetical strategies to Scripture passages.
Survey the doctrines of revelation, inspiration of Scripture, God, creation, mankind and sin. While a variety of theological perspectives are considered, special attention is given to these topics from the standpoint of the Christian and Missionary Alliance

Cultivate your personal and corporate formation in Christ with this deep dive into spiritual disciplines and biblically-based soul care. This course focuses on spiritual formation as it relates to personal and corporate identification with Jesus. In addition to addressing biblical principles and spiritual disciplines, you’ll be introduced to modern classics in spiritual formation.
Examine the origins, growth and life of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in its historical and theological context. Special attention is paid to the denominations founder, theological emphases, missionary outreach, and international character.
Develop a biblical philosophy and approach to evangelism and missions to help you live a life that leads others toward Jesus. You’ll study the eternal destiny of believers and non-believers, a theology of biblical evangelism and missions, and principles for effectively fulfilling the Great Commission at home and abroad.
Explore essential skills for communication the gospel and other biblical truth through a variety of media. You’ll study basic principles of exegesis and hermeneutics, strategies for effective communication and preaching, and current media for communication. You’ll also formulate your own philosophy and strategy for effective ministry communication.
Develop skills and knowledge for interpreting and applying Old Testament literature in light of its historical context.

How much do courses cost?
We seek to provide competitively priced courses while also covering our costs. All CROWN 30 courses are currently priced at $470 allowing you to complete the certificate for $4,700 (this does not include the cost of textbooks). New courses being developed will be priced at their release.
How do I get academic credit for my CROWN 30 courses?
To receive academic credit toward a Crown College degree you must complete all 10 CROWN 30 courses at a proficiency level of 80% or higher and submit your CROWN 30 transcript within 1 year of completing the certificate series. A transcript request form is available in each course, or you can submit your request to Kathy Sutherland.
