Many CMTI courses help you get a head start on your next degree program. You can articulate up to 30 professional development credits into academic credit at Crown College. Courses eligible for academic credit require an 80% proficiency grade and is subject to final approval of the Registrar.

What does CMTI stand for?
CMTI stands for Crown Ministry Training Institute. CMTI provides high-quality training that will help you lead and minister to others even more effectively. Our courses are perfect for learners in volunteer or vocational ministry roles, or who are considering a career change into church or helping professions. CMTI courses are practical and academically sound.
What can I expect when I take a CMTI course?
CMTI offers a wide variety of course topics relevant to your work and ministry. Select and enroll in your class (it takes less than 3 clicks!). Then, depending on the format of your class, you will either have instant access to all of your class content, or your course will have a noted start date and become available on a scheduled basis.
After completing your course you will receive a Certificate of Completion. With eligible courses, an 80% proficiency grade and Certificate of Completion can be applied as academic credit toward an undergraduate or graduate degree at Crown College.
Credits are transferrable to Crown College only. They will not count for other institutions.
What type of course formats do you offer?
Course formats include self-paced, on-demand, and scheduled 7-week modules. All are affordably priced and led by instructors that are both professionally trained and have real-world experience in their field.
How do I get academic credit for my CMTI courses?
You may apply eligible CMTI courses for credit toward a Crown College academic degree by completing the course at a proficiency of 80% or higher.
How do I request my CMTI Transcript?
Each course contains a “Course Wrap-up” module that provides information on transcript and certificate requests. A link is provided that notifies Crown personnel of your request. In general, you will not receive an official transcript until you complete all the courses you intend to have matriculated into Crown College towards a degree.
