This professional development series includes 10 fully online courses in Bible, Theology, and Ministry Leadership, each just 7 weeks long. Complete the series in 2 years or less, at your own pace and budget—pay per course.
Approved by the C&MA, CROWN 30 is a recognized pathway to licensing and ordination.
These courses will help you understand, reach, and serve ethnically diverse communities in health and wellness, trauma-informed care, and intercultural engagement and service.

Course List
Courses are based on accredited ministry curriculum and can be applied for up 30 credits toward a Ministry Bachelor’s degree at Crown College.
Global & Biblical Leadership
Explore the foundations of leadership in the context of Scripture, especially in intercultural settings. This course will help you develop as an ethical leader who is aware and responsive to the cultural context in which you serve.
Biblical Interpretation
Learn to study the Bible for yourself with confidence. You’ll gain practical experience in interpreting the Bible in this hands-on course, applying a variety of exegetical strategies to Scripture passages.
Basic Theology I
Survey the doctrines of revelation, inspiration of Scripture, God, creation, mankind and sin. While a variety of theological perspectives are considered, special attention is given to these topics from the standpoint of the Christian and Missionary Alliance
Basic Theology II
Study doctrines related to the atonement, Christology, the Holy Spirit, the Church and the Last Things (Eschatology). While a variety of theological perspectives are considered, special attention is given to these topics from the standpoint of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Spiritual Development
Cultivate your personal and corporate formation in Christ with this deep dive into spiritual disciplines and biblically-based soul care. This course focuses on spiritual formation as it relates to personal and corporate identification with Jesus. In addition to addressing biblical principles and spiritual disciplines, you’ll be introduced to modern classics in spiritual formation.
Alliance Theology
Examine the origins, growth and life of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in its historical and theological context. Special attention is paid to the denominations founder, theological emphases, missionary outreach, and international character.
Evangelism & Missions
Develop a biblical philosophy and approach to evangelism and missions to help you live a life that leads others toward Jesus. You’ll study the eternal destiny of believers and non-believers, a theology of biblical evangelism and missions, and principles for effectively fulfilling the Great Commission at home and abroad.
Ministry Communication
Explore essential skills for communication the gospel and other biblical truth through a variety of media. You’ll study basic principles of exegesis and hermeneutics, strategies for effective communication and preaching, and current media for communication. You’ll also formulate your own philosophy and strategy for effective ministry communication.
Understanding the Old Testament
Develop skills and knowledge for interpreting and applying Old Testament literature in light of its historical context.
Understanding the New Testament
Discover the history and content of the New Testament and learn to interpret it for understanding and daily life application.

What type of course formats do you offer?
Crown 30 courses are structured in 7-week modules, designed to keep you focused and progressing.
Expect to engage with course materials each week and submit assignments by their scheduled due dates. Each course is led by experienced instructors, giving you the opportunity to learn directly from experts in the field.
How much do courses cost?
We’re committed to offering high-quality courses at a competitive price. Each Crown 30 course is currently priced at $470, allowing you to complete the full certificate for $4,700. Textbooks are not included in registration fees.
How do I get started?
To begin a CMTI course, simply click “Register” under your chosen program and select the course you’d like to start with.
During registration, you’ll be prompted to create a Canvas Catalog account if you don’t already have one. Once your account is set up and your registration is complete, you’ll gain access to the course content.
For CROWN 30 courses, you’ll engage with the material between the designated start and end dates, so be sure to stay on track throughout the module.
How do I verify my course completion?
The CROWN 30 program provides a certificate of completion. To earn this certificate, participants must successfully complete all 10 courses with a minimum proficiency level of 80% or higher.
For other courses and for partial completion of Crown 30, you can still track your progress. An unofficial PDF transcript showing completed courses is available through your Canvas Catalog student dashboard.
How do I get academic credit for my CROWN 30 courses?
To receive academic credit for the CROWN 30 program, you must:
- Complete courses with a minimum proficiency level of 80% or higher
- Submit your CROWN 30 transcript within one year of completing coursework.
A transcript request form is available within each course, or you can submit your request directly to CMTI.
