Crown College is, once again, ranked among the Best Midwest Regional Colleges in the latest edition of the U.S. News & World Report “Best Colleges” survey which gathers data on over 1600 higher education institutions across the country. In its rankings, 16 indicators of academic excellence are analyzed. These include academic reputation, faculty resources and degree level, admissions test scores, faculty/student ratio, student retention, tuition, financial aid, financial resources and alumni giving. The article also provides an interesting section on how the investment in a college education may affect your career opportunities and quality of life. It explains that the income level of those obtaining a Bachelor’s degree is nearly double the income level of those with only a high school diploma. With Crown’s commitment to providing an affordable private college education by keeping tuition increases below 3% in each of the last two years, Crown is considered one of the Top Ten Most Affordable Christian Colleges in the Midwest by the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities ( CCCU).One reason why our student retention has increased dramatically over the last year is because the majority of Crown’s full-time faculty members hold Doctorate degrees and all are experts in their chosen field. Another reason for this increase in retention is because Crown’s faculty are passionate about their Christian faith and come along side students to mentor and pray with them, insuring their success not only in the classroom, but more importantly, in life. After nearly 100 years, Crown College remains an exceptional private Christian college passionate in its preparation of Christians who serve and influence the world.
