MASTER OF ARTS
Pastoral Counseling
Jesus offered to heal all who came to him. As the church fulfills the call to meet people where they are, there is a growing need for excellent Christian counselors.
God uses people as His hands and feet to help bring healing to a hurt world. The master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling gives practical skills that help those in the congregation who are hurting or struggling. Unlike our Counseling M.A., this degree focuses specifically on counseling within a church setting.
A Pastoral Counseling degree does not lead to licensure with the state. By focusing on ministry, this Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling better prepares those in ministry to help others work through trauma, pain and sin. Whether you are interested in helping individuals or families, this program equips you to reach others in a deeper way. There seems to be an ever-growing need for the Church to help others develop holistically, and Crown is proud to prepare students in a practical way that will impact the Kingdom.
