Marketing Degree
Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
This program prepares students for careers in contemporary marketing with opportunities to learn about research, strategy, current marketing trends, branding, advertising, and other components of marketing that drive growth in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. Applying a Christian perspective on marketing, the degree also addresses issues related to leadership, ethics, and business strategy.
Students will study the principles that undergird an effective marketing strategy as well as the fundamentals of e-marketing, marketing analytics, marketing plans and what it means to create “value” for one’s customers.

Departmental Acceptance
Students apply for departmental acceptance during their sophomore year spring semester or their junior year fall semester. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and completion of half of the service credit requirements are required for departmental admission in the Marketing major.
