It’s Not Too Late to Apply for the Fall

The summer months are remarkably busy ones for the Crown College enrollment team as they gear up to welcome the new crop of incoming students this fall. Like the incoming classes that came before them, the fall 2010 class will notice Crown?s ongoing commitment to uphold strong Christian principles with a rigorous academic quality that is balanced by our affordability.Crown has kept tuition increases at three percent over the past two years, while comparable institutions in the CCCU (Council of Christian Colleges and Universities) have averaged a six percent increase. In addition to the conservative tuition increases, 96% of Crown students receive financial aid, with the average student receiving $11,000 in awarded aid?more than half the cost of tuition. Furthermore, there has been no increase to the cost of room and board over the last two years?an impressive financial benefit to students and their families. With the elimination of most student fees for the 2010-2011 academic year, Crown?s net increase is again at three percent – well below national trends.Originally founded as a Bible college in 1916, Crown has existed to prepare young people with a solid foundation for life and ministry. As ministry and missions have transformed over the past 94 years, Crown has responded by adding majors like nursing, business administration, education and psychology to its core of traditional Bible and ministry degrees. Crown?s commitment remains to provide an affordable, academically-rigorous education that is based on unchanging Biblical truths, even in a changing moral and economic climate. An incomparable Christian education is within reach, and it?s not too late to apply for the fall semester. Our admissions team is ready to assist you.
