For the second straight year, Crown College has experienced significant enrollment growth

As the Midwest’s Boldly Christian College, Crown is committed to being boldly Christian, academically excellent, and fostering a lifelong authentic community.  Students can enroll at Crown through on-campus, online, graduate, or PSEO programs.

For the second straight year, Crown College has experienced significant enrollment growth. Our on-campus student enrollment over the past two years has set a pace of 19% growth. Last year’s on-campus new student class was the largest in nine years, and this year saw another two percent increase over last year.

New online and graduate student enrollment is on pace to have more than a 15% increase over last year’s fall, with our second module still enrolling students and PSEO seeing a 16% increase. Total fall enrollment is up over 9% from last fall, with 1724 students.

Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing, Dr. Dee McDonald said, “In my nearly twenty years serving in enrollment management, this is one of the largest percent increases I have experienced. The dedication to enrollment from our faculty and staff exhibited through innovation and collaboration is a true testament to the Lord’s blessing and their partnership with our team.”

Over the past two years, Crown has significantly strengthened our academic programs through a new six-school model, revamped the core curriculum, and developed an honors program.  “We believe pursuing academic excellence is a part of our call to be and make disciples who seek and serve God in every aspect of teaching, learning, career, and service. Crown is committed to offering our very best and to building each of our six schools in a way that fosters intellectual and professional growth as we fulfill our mission and become the Midwest’s boldly Christian college,” said Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Chris Mathews.

Since 2022, Crown has also made significant upgrades in its facilities focused on improving the student experience – eleven major projects, including opening a new residence hall and renovating a wing of classrooms, Simpson Hall, the Dining Center, Benedict Student Center, Wiggins Welcome Center, athletic locker and weight rooms, and several others.

Crown’s President, Dr. Andrew Denton, shared, “The Lord is blessing Crown beyond what we could hope for or imagine. I’m grateful for the excellent work happening across the campus that is impacting our ability to attract students to enroll at our school. We recognize that this growth is counter to what’s happening at many private institutions and believe it can ultimately be attributed to the Lord’s pouring out His blessings on our institution in miraculous ways.”
