Youth and Family Ministry, B.S.

The Youth and Family Ministry degree prepares graduates for career placement in ministry roles focused on adolescents and their families, with an emphasis on church-based settings. Students in this degree are trained in Biblical patterns of generational ministry, adolescent faith development, at-risk youth mentoring, and various approaches of work and ministry programming with teens, individually, and within the larger context of family and church community.

During the final year of their family ministry degree, students participate in a full-immersive ministry internship that provides on-site field practice in ministry. Graduates of the Youth and Family Ministry program earn a bachelor’s degree and are prepared to pursue future graduate work or seek employment in with the church or other ministry organizations.
