General Studies, B.S.

The General Studies Bachelor of Science degree is perhaps the most flexible major at Crown College. Designed to fully-prepare young men and women for graduate school, the general studies bachelor’s degree in Minnesota was developed after close examination of graduate school curricula and requirements, to ensure students obtain all the prerequisites necessary to succeed. The bachelor’s degree in General Studies also provides students with an excellent foundation for success in a variety of professional fields.

Through the general studies degree program, students gain a broad knowledge base, improve their written and communication skills, develop critical thinking and practical problem solving abilities, and integrate their Christian faith with their academic studies. The major is particularly helpful for transfer students who wish to maximize credit for coursework from other accredited institutions or for new students who have interests in a wide range of majors.
