Event Services

If you are in search of event or meeting space rental in Minnetonka or Eden Prairie, Crown College facilities are available to rent for a fee, depending on event type, size and caliber of event. Crown College Event Services will assist with facility preparation, catering coordination, audiovisual needs and other event-related concerns. We will work with you, the event representative, to coordinate the event you have in mind for your audience.

Crown College has facilities available for meetings, seminars, retreats, receptions and daytime camps. Crown College facilities are available for rental throughout the calendar year as long as they do not conflict with student, staff or faculty use of the space.

Overnight space and wedding rentals are available from the end of the academic year, typically mid-May, until August 1. Various other times are available during the academic year, but are booked on a case-by-case basis, depending on what is open (Winter Break, Spring Break, etc.).

Meeting Space Rental Areas

  • Storm Café – Casual lounge furniture with round table seating for up to 150. Audiovisual capabilities.
  • Student Center – Casual lounge furniture with bistro table seating for up to 170 depending on configuration. Audiovisual capabilities.
  • Fireside Room – Meeting area setup with couches and small tables, customizable setup for seating up to 100, depending on configuration.  Audiovisual capabilities
  • Classrooms – Small classroom seating up to 30 and large classroom seating up to 60. Equipped with visual capabilities.
  • Conference Rooms – Smaller, corporate meeting space for seating up to 30.

Outdoor Rental Areas

Situated on more than 210 acres of property, Crown College has outdoor spaces, such as a full 18-hole disc golf course, a 5-kilometer cross country course and a small lake, Lake Parley, on campus. Activities such as hiking, fishing, picnicking and biking on the nearby Dakota bike trail, are all available through Crown College.

Wedding Rental Areas

  • Chapel – Stone structure with pew seating and stained glass windows for seating up to 320 guests. Audiovisual capabilities.
  • Dining Room– Large, open dining area with large windows, as well as rectangular and round table seating up to 270, depending on room configuration and other space needs. Standing room for 350.  Limited audio capabilities.
  • Fireside Room – Smaller, intimate space with fireplace and circular tables available for seating up to 80. Standing room for 120.  Audiovisual capabilities.

Overnight Rental Areas

Exterior Dorm Buildings – Dorm areas, both dormitory and apartment style, containing common lounge areas and kitchens and/or kitchenettes to sleep groups of up to 450 per night. Air conditioning is available in 210 of those rooms. Common areas, shower and bathrooms in each room.
