Destination: Serve trips (DS trips) are a highlight of the year for Crown students. Students go and learn — experientially — on these short-term trips. In fact, more than 50% of our graduates participate in at least one DS trip during their time at Crown.

This year’s Destination: Serve Trips:
Envision (Inca Link) Ecuador
Location: Quito, Ecuador
Envision Ecuador is all about providing opportunities to share Christ! They believe that “When a community witnesses a group sacrificing their time and energy to serve them, conversations are had, relationships are built, hearts are opened, and lives are transformed forever.” Visiting teams may partner in ministry to do this through soccer ministry, assembling food baskets at a local center, and caring for young teens and their babies at a pregnancy center.
Inca Link Guatemala
Location: Guatemala City, Guatemala
Inca Link Guatemala (ILG) operates primarily through partnerships with local ministries whose goal is to break the cycles of poverty through equipping and encouraging the next generation.
Envision Thailand
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Envision Bangkok is all about doing what it takes to get these two specific groups of people closer to Jesus: women and children in the red light districts and university students. Visiting teams may partner in ministry through university student outreach, red light district outreach, relational evangelism, and English tutoring.
Envision LA
Location: South Los Angeles, CA, USA
Envision LA is all about community! They are passionate about building relationships in the community and do this by meeting practical needs such as providing clothing and food, dental and health clinics, a mobile pregnancy center, literacy classes and tutoring. Church planting, VBS, barbecues, festivals, house repairs, yard care, providing life skills through job training, mentoring, and the list goes on of the myriad ways this team seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their community! Visiting teams may partner in many of the above ministries.
Envision New York City
Location: New York City, NY, USA
Envision NYC is all about diaspora ministry! Diaspora what?! Diaspora simply means a group of people living in a place other than their country of origin. There are over 50 unreached people groups in New York City, and Envision NYC seeks to engage them through specific diaspora ministries. Visiting teams may partner in ministries such as teaching English, evangelism, youth and kids ministry, prayer walking, and developing partnerships with local churches.
