Mike Sohm’s comments appear in special section of March issue.
Crown College’s Vice President of Student Development, Mike Sohm, is quoted several times in a special section found in the March, 2013 issue of Christianity Today.
The section, titled “Switching to Coach Mode–a new parenting style to help your child succeed in college” discusses the transition that takes place when students go off to college. The transition can be challenging for the parents, as well as students.
Sohm is quoted several times in the article, especially from the standpoint of how important it is for parents to coach and encourage their college-age children. Representatives from only four other institutions around the U.S. were quoted in the article.
Check back in the coming days for a link to the article once it is made available online. In the meantime, be sure to get your copy from your local newsstands.
