Clubs + Organizations
Crown’s community comes together with a lot of different passions. From examining the deep meanings of films to diving into the connections between science and faith, there are plenty of ways to be involved. Clubs and organizations are great options for you to find your tight-knit community.
Senate Clubs + Events
Hmong Student Fellowship
The Hmong Student Fellowship (HSF) focusing on deepening the Hmong community at Crown. HSF meets weekly and hosts several annual events to promote community, camaraderie, and fellowship among the Hmong students at Crown and the greater Hmong community.
MuKappa
Mu Kappa is an on-campus club open to all Missionary Kids (MKs), Third Culture Kids (TCKs), and international students. The goal of MuKappa is to provide an environment that supports students during cultural transitions and adaptations. MuKappa values the special bond between those who have international experiences and wants to encourage and promote the sharing of these experiences within the Crown community.
Socratic Society
The Crown Socratic Society meets bi-weekly to discuss and debate literature and current topics. Watch for flyers advertising events that are open to all curious members of the Crown community.
Crown Film Coalition
The Crown Film Coalition (CFC) is Crown’s media and film club. This club’s goal includes promoting media literacy on campus through evaluating films from a biblical perspective, hosting film competitions and Faith in Film events, creating and critiquing movies, and learning how to represent Christ in the culture of today’s film industry. CFC is open to all students that have a sincere interest in film or media outlets.
Diverse and Unified Souls of Christ
The Diverse and Unique Souls of Christ (DUSC) is a group that wants to help promote the unity of different groups of people. The purpose of DUSC is to break down walls and ease barriers of different cultural backgrounds, embracing the uniqueness of others and unifying the body of Christ.
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) represents all NCAA Division III student-athletes on a national level. The Crown segment is open to all current student-athletes. Their purpose is to represent and serve fellow Crown athletes on the national level (NCAA DIII), conference level (UMAC), institutional level (Crown College), and within the surrounding community. Ultimate Frisbee
The Ultimate Frisbee club is a group of Crown students who enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, open to all members of the community. Check the Ultimate Frisbee Facebook page for updates on both scheduled events and impromptu ultimate gatherings.
Peer Advisory Council for TeacherEd
The Peer Advisory Council for TeacherEd (PACT) has a vision is to cultivate communication and foster leadership within the TeacherEd department at Crown. The club works to improve the education department through events that enrich the experience and community for TeacherEd students. PACT organizes socials, panels, and meetings intended to promote this purpose.
Student Nurses Christian Fellowship
The purpose of the Student Nurses Christian Fellowship is to be an organization of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord. We are growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture, and God’s purposes in the world. This group meets weekly for a Bible study.

Campus Ministries Discipleship Team
The Discipleship Team exists to provide transformative ministry for students of Crown College. This includes initiating Bible studies and small groups that foster spiritual growth in students, starting small and large group prayer efforts across campus, assisting with the mentoring program on campus, promoting ministries on campus with intentionality and creativity, recruiting and preparing students for a ministry of intercession, coordinating a prayer team for chapels and other events, and developing and executing strategies for improving spiritual care to students.
Student Activities Board
The Student Activities Board (SAB) assists in the mission of Student Development by executing quality community-building initiatives, activities, and events for enrolled students at Crown. They are involved in the process of brainstorming, planning, creating, preparing, executing, and evaluating SAB initiatives. SAB plans many of our events around Crown.

Campus Mobilization Team
The Campus Mobilization Team (CMT) is a group of students who work to promote global awareness and local outreach. Through a variety of chapels, events, and projects, CMT exists to help educate, inspire, and invite the student body to action at home and around the world. The Global and Local Outreach event in the spring is a significant event that actively involves students in what God is doing here, near, and far.

Traveling Worship Teams
Do you love to lead others into the presence of God? Join a team that travels locally to camps, churches, and other sites to spread the love of Jesus through worship. Join a community devoted to singing God’s praise and learning how to improve as musicians, all for God’s glory.
Men’s Ministry
Join other men who are seeking to love God with all their heart, soul, and mind. Discover a deeper fellowship of brothers who struggle together, encouraging one another to righteousness and good deeds. Grow as a deeper disciple of Christ, sharpening one another, just as iron sharpens iron.
Women’s Ministry
Meet weekly with other women who love one another and desire to support their sisters during this college season. Learn more about biblical truths while discussing real-life issues that college women face. Love, care, and support one another throughout the year.
Resident Life
Do you love people? Would you like to help others find their new home at Crown? Our RA’s (Resident Assistant) and ARD (Assistant Resident Directors) are the leaders of floors in our dorms. They help to make the student resident life experience excellent while gaining a close community with the other resident life staff. Plus, students who serve in this role receive a small stipend. Students apply during the spring of each year.
Intramural Sports
Throughout the year, we have internal sports seasons for those who just love the game. Whether basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, or any other activities, intramural sports is an excellent opportunity to grab some friends and form a team to compete.
Destination: Serve
Destination:Serve (DS) trips are an excellent chance for you to have a cross-cultural experience. Expand your mind and your heart while serving in another context overseas. Each fall, students apply to teams that travel throughout the world. During the spring and summer, the units are sent out to serve communities here, near, and far!

Theater
Do you command the stage? Would you like to give acting a try? Join our theater program and put on a show for your fellow Crownies and the local community. Productions are a great way to find like-minded individuals to perform with. This is also a wonderful chance to learn valuable skills that you can take with you for life.
Faith + Science
God made a beautiful world that we have the chance to study. Events take place throughout the year, where professionals and students discuss topics around science and the impact of faith. Learn better science while forming your Christian convictions around current scientific thought.
