The Crown Fund
What is the Crown Fund?
The Crown Fund is our centralized giving designation. Projects under the Crown Fund focus on student experience and scholarship. Your gifts elevate the experience students have on-campus and allow us to share our mission of Biblically-based education for Christian leaders with more students.
For our first phase, we want to reach $54,750. This will allow us to make continual updates to the dorms.
- Recarpet Tewinkle – $30,000
- Repaint Strohm and Richardson dorm rooms – 45 rooms/$150 each to repaint for a total of $6,750
- Paint, Carpet, blinds for 2nd floor main – 9 rooms/$2k per room for a total of $18,000
Thanks to our incredible donors and partners, we received full funding for the patio project. Get ready for new memories in this beautiful outdoor space. Completed Summer 2021.
Create a premier multi-functional space that can be utilized by new and continuing students, faculty, staff, and external guests. Help us raise $300,000 to make Simpson our best space on campus for students to engage in academic lectureships, dramas, and film experiences such as our monthly Faith + Film.
IT’S A GREAT INVESTMENT
Crown College has worked hard over the years to keep tuition rates low and provide institutional aid for students to attend college. Crown’s discount rate for 2020 – 2021 will approach nearly 50%. Crown’s desire is to help as many students as possible attend our Christ-centered college. Our mission is more important today than it has ever been.
We know a college education continues to be one of the best investments one can make. According to the Chronicle of Higher Education college graduates on average earn $32,000 per year than a HS graduate. According to the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU), graduates from Christian colleges have a higher loan repayment rate and lower default rate than graduates from other colleges. This data continues to show the value of integrated faith and learning.
MAKE YOUR MARK ON CAMPUS
Student Experience Projects
It all starts with a great idea that addresses student need. Take for example, a need for outdoor, multi-use, spaces. And just like that, our patio project was born.
Due to generous donations from Alumni and Donors we broke ground in July and this project was complete in time for students to enjoy fellowship (and root-beer floats) during Welcome Week. Will you be a part of our next project?
