Sarah Schroden of Crown College

I love Crown’s teacher ed program because we are a team. The professors are more caring and intentional than I ever thought possible, and my classmates have been the dictionary definition of collaboration. The program provides me with so much practice and experience while still helping me feel supported.

TED Tips

TED Tips is a chance for senior teacher education majors to explore different aspects of pedagogy in the classroom. Seniors then present their findings of what worked, what did not, and how it will affect the way they teach in their future classroom. This is an excellent opportunity to find practical ways to improve the classroom environment, all while enjoying a tasty dessert!

Mentoring Opportunities

Learning in the classroom is one of the core ways that you can grow as a person. However, we believe classrooms can only go so far. That is why each student has the opportunity to connect with a faculty or staff member to talk about class, life, and Jesus. Because learning is more than just knowledge, it is experiencing life-changing relationships.
