The biology degree program’s holistic perspective on studying the biological sciences provides significant faculty guidance, mentoring and career support. Students enrolled in the Biology bachelor’s degree program at our Minnesota campus receive exceptional preparation for their future careers. This program is for students who wish to pursue a wide range of science-related career options including medical, veterinary or dental school; graduate school in biology, research or forensic science; positions in a science-related industry, environmental nonprofit, corporation or government organizations.

The department’s holistic perspective on studying the biological sciences provides significant faculty guidance, mentoring and career support for the pursuit of becoming a Christian biologist. The program is also unique in that while studying the scientific and mathematical principles behind biology and chemistry, students also learn how God creates. In fact, the deeper students venture into their studies, the more they become aware of His intelligence and intention in creating our world. Graduates of the program have received research fellowships, entered medical schools, and even been awarded internships at the prestigious Mayo Clinic.
Students will be adequately prepared for careers in medical, veterinary, dental, research and forensic science fields. They’ll find jobs in most science-related industries, environmental nonprofits, or government organizations. They’re also positioned well to pursue postgraduate learning in a number of scientific studies.
