Music at Crown College has a long and successful heritage. Based on the philosophy of "excellence in all things," all music is rehearsed and performed to the glory of God. At Crown College, skill and musical expression are equally valued. While the skill part of music-making is taught and practiced, the expression part is something all together different. We believe that music is a sacred and wonderful gift from God. The way in which we express our love and devotion back to the Creator of music is given the utmost importance in the way we teach in the classroom, recital hall, or private studio. We believe it is not enough to simply thank God for His gift of music; we must give it back to Him.
