Biography

I have been a Registered Nurse for nearly 33 years. My area of expertise in Maternal and Child Health, and I hold national certification in Inpatient Obstetrics. I am the oldest of 10 children, wife (35 years), mother of 4, and grandmother of 4 grand-daughters. I am active in my church in Adult Bible Fellowship and Worship Arts. I came to Crown for the first year of the nursing program, and teach Med-Surg, Maternal-Child, and Community Nursing, both didactic and clinical instruction.

Testimony

I grew up in a Christian home and attended as many summer Bible camps as my parents would allow. It was at one of those camps, as a missionary spoke, that I really understood, for the first time, what it meant to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I was blessed to come under many wonderful Christian mentors in my teen years, and attended a Christian high school. I truly believe, through the good times and bad, that God has prepared my each step of the way for my role here at Crown.
