Biography

I am thankfully a redeemed sinner. My salvation is secure. My days are filled with a busy Family Practice Clinic position in Pine Island Minnesota. I see the spectrum of patients from birth to death. Occasionally I am involved with OB patients. My love is in working with diabetic patients and my pediatric population. Politics takes up a majority of my community involvement committments. I have worked on campaigns from State House races to Senate, Governor, Congress, and yes, even President George W. Bush's campaign and have pictures to remind me of the successes. There are many stained glass windows around Minnesota and several other states that have my "touch of the masters hand" signature. Travel would be another passtime. I believe I have been to 29 countries. Tim Bristol encouraged my involvement at Crown. He has me teaching several courses in the Nursing program at the Owatonna Campus. I am their first faculty for the RN to BSN program.

Testimony

I came to know the Lord as my personal savior through realizing I cannot and am not expected to do all things alone and perfectly. Hmmm what a concept. I fail to remember that moment by moment, but I am secure in knowing that He picks me up, dusts me off and sends me on my way EVERYTIME I stumble or fall. I understand in my heart we all do not live up to each others expectations..Thank You God!..He is all I need to look up to and He is the definitive judge on what expectations I need to live by. He alone gives me the peace and security that I have been saved by His grace. I grew up in a home that expected perfection-this was not lived out by those same that expected perfection believe me...but I came to believe that He alone was perfect and is in the process of perfecting ME! Cool. What a relief too to know that I do not have to be perfect to be the recipient of His love.

Phillipians 4:13- "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
