Biography

Keenly aware of the upcoming nursing shortage crisis, I am passionate about raising up the next generation of Christian nurses. Nursing is the intersection of caring for the whole person, body & spirit, regardless of race, belief or background. As a devoted follower of Jesus Christ I seek to encourage and exhort students along this road of discipleship. Students are eager to learn and I enjoy the chance to challenge them to grow. I teach Foundations for sophomores, Pharmacy for juniors and Research and Mental Health for seniors. My husband Rick and I are the grateful for the opportunity to serve together at Crown. Our three adult sons are great guys but they all live on the west coast so we appreciate the energy and enthusiasm of Crown students.

Testimony

I committed my life to Christ at age 16 through my youth group. I have seen the Lord's faithfulness through many varied experiences: in missions, the pastorate and now part of a Christian college. My life is a testimony to His power of grace and healing.
