I wanted to go to a Christian school that would allow me to be myself and where I could play football in a Christ-centered program, and I chose Crown because it is genuine.

On the first day of training camp our head coach told us that his goal was to make every player a strong and godly young man, “because that is success for Life.” Having been a part of this team, I can say that is truly the aim of the program. The coaching staff and my fellow teammates have hugely impacted me on my walk with God with their example and accountability. I live in a three-story townhouse-style dorm on campus with seven other guys, which means something is always happening—from video games to Bible studies. On holidays that I am unable to fly home to California, many of my friends at Crown open up their homes to me. These guys are my support through rough times and are huge blessing from God.
