After spending two years as a Crown PSEO student, Erin said, “As I stayed, I felt more and more tied to the community here. The community, the people, the way they care for me personally and how the professors really care for me one-on-one—that changed my mind.” In the area of academics, Erin says that classes at Crown have “developed in me a sense for what I want to do and how I want to do that.”

Erin left Crown for a semester so that she could help take care of her younger brother who had been in a coma for six weeks following a serious accident. The biggest challenge she had at Crown, Erin noted, was leaving. Stepping outside the community, Erin realized what she valued most in the Crown community was the support she received. “I’ve met so many great people here.” She adds, “Spiritually, I’ve grown in almost every way. I’ve learned to choose my faith as my own. I have Crown to thank for being the venue of which Christ started his work in me.”
