Teaching assistant for Dr. Steele, a Crown accounting professor.
Treasurer for SAAC (Student Athletic Advisory Committee).

It wasn’t until she stepped onto campus that Annette knew she should come to Crown. “I had been looking at other schools, but it wasn’t until I visited that I saw Crown fit me. The atmosphere was warmer than the other schools I visited.”
Annette decided on a bachelor’s in business administration with a minor in
accounting. “Christian leaders in the business world are always needed,” she says. “Coming in, I didn’t even want to be involved in business. Once I got here, my passion for the accounting field started to grow. And it’s nice to have Bible classes as a supplement to the business classes, too.”
Friends and professors both have impacted Annette’s Crown experience. When discussing her spiritual journey, Annette says, “Keeping the spiritual passion I had as a freshman is a challenge. I have to keep asking myself, ‘How do I keep going deeper?’ Yeah, it’s been a challenge to grow spiritually, but I’ve learned about what God can do in my life and how to keep my faith strong the whole time.”
