Hi! My name is Kimmie Moehring and as the Transfer Recruiter I work with all students who have taken post-high school college courses and want to complete their degree at Crown. Growing up just 25 minutes away in nearby Wazyata, MN I am very familiar with the area and Crown College and the wonderful state of Minnesota. I attended Bethel University and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education. Choosing a Christian college made a huge impact on my life by giving me a Biblical foundation to my education, as well as my personal and spiritual life. My college years changed the trajectory of my life and I absolutely love talking with students about the opportunities they will have to grow in their academics and faith while being a student at Crown.
I enjoy spending time on Lake Minnetonka (MN has over 11,000 lakes!), riding along many of the bike trails in the state, playing volleyball or anything where you can keep score, studying the Word, and snuggling up with some chai tea and a good book.
Intentionality with students to help them succeed in and out of the classroom is something I see with our professors as they walk the halls, prepare for classes and sit with their office door open. These are men and women who have a heart for the Lord and a strong desire to serve him whole heartedly in all that they do. They are great examples to the students and other coworkers and display character qualities we would love our students to emulate. In one word, it’s the people who I love here.
