Crown College Multicultural Scholarships

  • Dollar Amount: $200 - $3000/yr.
  • Qualifications:  Available to U.S. students of color who have been traditionally underrepresented (American Indian, Alaska Native, Asian American, Black or African American, Hispanic, and Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander)
  • Be eligible for Federal student aid and have demonstrated financial need as determined by the FAFSA. 

How to Apply

  1. Apply for admission to Crown College.
  2. Submit the FAFSA.

After you have been accepted to the College and all Financial Aid applications and forms have been submitted, you will be notified of your scholarship amount and a financial aid package will be prepared for you.

Guidelines

  • A student who is entering Crown as a new traditional undergraduate student in the fall of 2012 may be eligible for the Multicultural Scholarship.
  • The Crown Multicultural Scholarship is stackable with other scholarships and grants offered at Crown.
  • Renewable for up to three years.

Renewing the Scholarship

  • Student must be enrolled full-time in the Traditional Day Program as a degree seeking student.
  • Student must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually.
  • Student must maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA to receive this scholarship in successive years.

To be eligible for institutional aid, student applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). They must also be enrolled full-time, making satisfactory academic progress and maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA while at Crown. Institutional aid will not exceed tuition.

Award amounts will be determined after a student is accepted to Crown and has completed the FAFSA.  The Crown College Financial Aid Office strongly encourages all families to submit the FAFSA.  If you elect not to complete the FAFSA please notify the Admissions Office.

Financial Aid deadlines: April 15 for fall semester and December 1 for spring semester.
