Financial Aid

At Crown College, our goal is to make quality private Christian education affordable to all students, regardless of financial background, through both need-based and non-need-based financial aid. Because of the financial assistance available at Crown, the net costs (how much you have to pay) are often similar to public colleges and universities. We will give you the personal service you need to prepare your college budget and financial plan so you can afford a Crown College education.

Financial Planning for College

The cost of attending Crown College includes tuition, fees, housing, meals, transportation, books, and personal expenses. Your family's contribution (EFC) is determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid [FAFSA]. The Crown College Title IV code for the FAFSA is 002383. You will need this code when filling out this form. This methodology is uniform for all colleges and universities. Crown College helps more than 96% of its students each year by awarding over $3.3 million through financial aid programs. At Crown College, we make quality private Christian education affordable to all students, regardless of financial background, through both need-based and non-need-based financial aid.

Need-based Programs include federal and state grants, government loans, federal or state work study and some scholarships. Crown College students who qualify for need-based assistance receive a financial aid "package" that may contain a combination of:

  • Scholarships
  • Grants
  • Loans
  • Employment

A student may accept or decline any portion of their personal financial aid package.
