Financial Aid Process

  1. Apply for admission to Crown College
  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Crown's Title IV school code is 002383. The FAFSA is available via the internet, through your local high school, public library, or  the Crown Financial Aid office. It is advisable to complete and send the FAFSA before April 15th of the year you are applying for.
  3. Students must notify the Financial Aid Office of any private grants or scholarships they receive.  You can notify our office through e-mail, finaid@crown.edu

  • About 30% of families are selected for verification of the information given on the FAFSA. If you are among those selected for verification, Crown's Financial Aid Office will contact you for more information.

  • Crown College Financial Aid personnel will notify you when your financial aid is awarded. Contact the Financial Aid Office if you have questions about your award. Grants and Scholarships are free monies that you don't have to repay.  Loans and work study require additional applications.

Note: Students who miss the priority application dates of April 15 for fall and December 1 for spring semester may receive reduced institutional funding.
