In addition to the regular admission process, international students must complete several additional steps before being considered for acceptance.

Transcripts from educational institutions outside the United States must be submitted to World Education Services, Inc. for evaluation. International applicants whose first language is not English must also prove English competency through the Test of English as a Foreign Language. In accordance with Federal law, the final requirement is that all international applicants provide evidence of funding for one full year of educational expenses.

Financial Aid
Complete and return the Financial Support Form. Applicants must have sufficient financial resources to cover all educational expenses including tuition, fees, room and board, books and supplies, personal expenses, and round-trip transportation. You must submit proof of such funds before obtaining a student visa or entering the United States. All semester costs are payable at the beginning of each semester.

Scholarships from a source in the applicant's home country, assistance from a church, or aid from an individual sponsor will be received as a guarantee of the student's ability to pay if the guarantee is properly documented with a letter and, when required, a statement of how and when the money will be transferred and credited to the student's college financial account.

Student Visa
After the College has received the Financial Support Form and the student is accepted, the student will be sent a completed I-20 form to be used in obtaining a student (F-1) visa. No student should make plans to enter the United States until the I-20 form is received. Crown College will not issue any I-20 forms less than two months prior to the beginning of a semester.

7

Submit Deposit
Upon notification of acceptance to Crown College, the applicant is required (in keeping with U.S. Immigration Law) to submit a deposit in U.S. dollars in the amount equal to one semester’s room and board, tuition, and fees. Married students must submit an amount equal to one semester’s living expenses. This money is applied toward the student’s college costs and is not an additional fee. The deposit is refundable in full if the student is unable to register.

8

Registration
Every student attending Crown College is assigned to a Faculty Advisor. The International Student Advisor assists International students with language testing and registration. International students must be registered as full-time students (12 or more credits) in order to legally remain in the United States on a student visa.
