2008 Nursing Graduate Profiles
Where will they go from here?
Our very first graduating class. They've been in the spotlight from the start. Others have watched them take on the unique rigors and stressors that come with being the first students in a brand new program. There were bumps and bruises to be sure, but we saw them handled with grace and perserverence. Now, as we prepare to send these plucky individuals out into the world as nurses, we wonder 'where will they go from here?'
Christina Atkinson "I will be in the New grad program at North Memorial working in the trauma unit...hopefully!!!!"
Anna Compton "I am looking forward to a job in a hospital and to getting married! I do not have any plans set as to where I will be working as of now."
Dan Deminsky "I am as of yet undecided on my post-graduation plans; considering possibly the navy. In the meantime, I expect to enjoy the break!"
Kelly Johnson "For starters, I am planning on working at Mercy Hospital through their New Grad program and then from there I hope to develop my knowledge and skills to better prepare me for a more specific nursing profession in Mental health/community health."
