The team visitors for our CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accreditation process have completed their evaluation. These visitors brought decades of experience in nursing education to our campus for 3 short days and we are very grateful for their consultation and input. They complimented Crown on how well students and faculty in the nursing department live out the faith and mission that we hold dear.

My Transcultural Experience

My clinical experience for Transcultural Nursing was in downtown Minneapolis at an organization called KOLA, a program for Native Americans living on the streets of Minneapolis. Through this program several needs are met; the Native Americans can shower, do their laundry, have something to eat, and see the doctor, if needed. Dr. McMillan, the doctor at the organization, is at the clinic Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
