Biography
I teach a number of different subjects from an interdisciplinary perspective: Apologetics, Philosophy, History, English, and Speech. My specialty is modern intellectual history, but I believe that each person needs a balance between the spiritual, intellectual, social, and personal sides of life. I was the founding Director of the Honors program at Crown, and I still teach two courses in this exciting program. Supporting various projects overseas has always been a part of who I am. In the last twelve years I have taught or spoken during thirteen trips overseas, the last three years to the Lahu people of Thailand. My wife Helen and I have two children and four granddaughters.
Testimony
I became a Christian at the age of ten when a dedicated Sunday School teacher clearly explained the Gospel to me. In my teens I surrendered to the Lord to serve Him in whatever way He directed, and He has led me into the field of Christian education. In a way I have been a pastor to students who want to clarify their faith from a biblical point of view.
