Biography

I taught for 17 years in the public school realm. Most of my years were spent in the elementary classroom, but I have also taught middle school and high school in a charter school that I helped to start. I have a private consulting business which specializes in curriculum writing, professional development and grant writing. As the AGS Teacher Education Coordinator I have many "hats" which include teaching 12 credits-main campus and Owatonna, advising all AGS Teacher Education students, responsible for AGS Education Adjunct Professors, manage all education syllabi, member of AGS Chairs committee, organize placements for all AGS placements in the schools, and liaison between the Undergraduate the Teacher Education Department and AGS. I am currently single and living in a home in Waconia.

Testimony

I became a Christian on March 21, 1982 when I was in college. I grew up in a family that would be described as a good family with strong moral values. After deciding to give my life to Christ, I have made all life decisions based on where God led me. There were places and situations along the way that challenged my beliefs about education, family and my relationship with God. I am thankful for His words, ÏI will never leave you, nor forsake youÓ. He did neither and brought me through a trial professionally, personally (death of my mom, fiancee, and dad) and strengthened my faith to finally deliver me here at Crown College in January 2004.
