Biography

I received my B.A. in Contemporary Worship from Crown College in 2007 where I graduated Cum Laude and a Senior Honor Key Recipient. In the fall of 2007 I was hired by the Music Department here at Crown. My professional experience at Crown includes directing the Women’s Choir and Men’s Choir, teaching private lessons in voice and guitar, directing traveling ministry teams, giving musical direction for the Spring Musical, and overseeing production aspects of the Chapel program. As a singer, I have performed with the Minnesota Opera, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Chorale, Minnesota Beethoven Festival, and the Exultate Festival Choir. A lover of musical theater, I perform with the Burnsville Civic Light Opera Company and serve on their Board of Directors. I also help facilitate worship at Wayzata Community Church where I serve as a staff section leader for their Chancel Choir. I am an active member of both ACDA and MENC in Minnesota and nationally. Currently I am a student at St. Thomas University where I am seeking my Masters of Music Education with and emphasis in Choral Conducting. I live in Eden Prairie, MN with my beautiful, accountant wife Elizabeth.

Testimony

Growing up in Christian home, I spent much of my developing years in a church building. At an early age I decided to make my faith a personal relationship. Ever since then I have pursued what it means to be a Christ-follower, all the while learning more and more what it means to live in the grace God offers me.
