Biography

I am married to Gary and the mother of 4 children. Two of them are married and we have 4 grandchildren. We live in the Buffalo, Mn area and are involved in our church there. I have been a RN since 1976 and have worked in nursing homes, the hospital-med-surg and ICU/CCU, and have done phone triage. I have also been a Parish Nurse and Camp nurse. I have worked in recent years as a nurse practitioner and was an assistant professor of nursing at Crown College in the first year of the program. At this time I am doing phone triage nursing part time and working as an adjunct nursing professor in the AGS program.

Testimony

I was raised in a family in which church was important, and went through confirmation. When I was 19, I accepted Christ in my life after going through a 'rebellious' phase of life. The Lord has always been there for me in going through the 'ups' and 'downs' of life. He has given me an underlying peace that the world cannot take away. A wonderful experience for me was the Hamtramck mission trip to the Detroit, Michigan area with Crown Students in the spring of 2007. It was a great experience to serve the Lord with the students. It has been exciting to see students grow in their talents and abilities and in their desire to serve the Lord.
