Youth/Social Ministry Degree (B.S)

Bachelor's of Science

The young men and women who graduate with the Youth/Social Ministry B.S. find their fulfillment in non-traditional ministry roles, such as on college and high school campuses, in prisons and women’s shelters, in teen agencies, and with group homes, rescue missions and inner-city outreaches. The program prepares and equips students to work holistically with adolescent youth and other populations that are poor, hurting and hungry.

The Youth/Social Ministry B.S. in not a social worker’s degree, but an opportunity to minister in such organizations as Family Hope Services and Chuck Colson’s Prison Fellowship. Some graduates continue on to graduate school for a Masters in Social Work in order to work in secular agencies.
