A few more details
The AGS online program uses Angel, a web-based management system that provides a collaboration point for students to find course content as well as interact with their professors and classmates through threaded discussions. Angel is used to share class material in text-based, PowerPoint, audio and streaming video form. Online students can conveniently submit and receive class assignments through drop boxes located in Angel.
Within Angel, you also have a unique opportunity to be part of an online community group where every student in a given major can communicate with other students in the program, regardless of whether or not they share the same classes. This means that you can seek advice from classmates who are further along in their schooling while you share your experiences with newer students.
At some point in their degree, AGS students may be required to take an online class. Because our online and on-campus classes have the same format, students have greater flexibility to ease those online courses into their academic plan. (Please note the difference between online and on-campus classes in class availability.)
