Early Childhood Education

Licensure

The AGS Teacher Education Licensure Program offers adults who have already earned an accredited bachelor’s degree in another field the opportunity to earn a Minnesota Teaching Licensure. Licensure programs are available in Early Childhood Education (license for birth through grade 3) and Elementary Education (license for K–6) with Pre-Primary or Middle School Content Concentrations. Although the class sessions are held conveniently for adults, students must have some flexibility in scheduling to allow for observation hours during the school day. A bachelor’s degree is required for acceptance into this program.
