James began his Crown experience in 2006 in the M.A. in Ministry Leadership. Just two years later at the Adult & Graduate Studies commencement ceremony in May 2008, he was giving the student reflection speech to the rest of his “classmates” from the AGS online, bachelor’s, associate’s and master’s programs. He shared from a perspective that had been transformed over the past two years.
“I'm thankful to the staff for their friendship and hard work during my education,” James says, noting the “genuine care and attention” of his professors. “They wanted me to succeed and would do everything in their power to ensure that success.”
Looking ahead to the future, James says, “I dream one day of getting my PhD and my experience at Crown has given me the courage to pursue that dream. Choosing Crown College for my graduate work was a wise decision.”
