Individual or pooled gifts beginning at $20,000 establish endowed scholarships that will serve God and bless students for generations to come. Gifts invested into the endowed fund at Crown earn interest, and the interest continually produces new scholarships each year. Because the principal balance is never touched, the endowed scholarship continues in perpetuity. The mission of Crown is to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders. We believe that it is not enough to prepare emerging leaders—we want see these leaders impacting the nations in every vocation. We recruit the best high school graduates and enroll them as Christian Leader Scholars, a catalytic program to accelerate their development. By providing scholarships from one fourth to full tuition, we are able to attract students who have a vision for God’s work in their lives and leadership.

As we see the exciting impact Leader Scholars are having on our campus, we want to expand this program to enroll even more of these top-level students. Leader Scholar Mary VanAbel was a resident assistant for one year and is now an assistant resident director, with responsibility for leading a number of resident assistants. Josh Benjamin, a third year CLS, initiated the CORE program that organizes students for community outreach and influence. This year Dominic Broda, a CLS graduate, is working as a presidential intern.

Crown is able to recruit these students because of the scholarships that are available through gifts ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. All the funds received in this program go directly to very capable and deserving students.
