4:00-8:00 p.m.  Golden Alumni Reunion   

Golden alums (class of 1961 and older) are invited to the home of Vernice Markusson Deming (1631 Independence Ave. South, St. Louis Park, MN 55426) for a time of fellowship, light supper and dessert (5:00 p.m.), followed by a time of singing and sharing. Current Crown Parents and their students are invited to continental breakfast with Dr. Rick Mann for a semester update and Q&A.

9:30 a.m.  Nursing Alumni Reunion Breakfast

The nursing faculty are hosting a reunion for nursing alumni. Enjoy meeting the current nursing students during breakfast in the Nursing Lab and then head out to the Homecoming Fair and football game as a group.

11:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.  Homecoming Fair   

Enjoy a variety of food stations and family activities, visit the Alumni tent for a special treat, browse the Crown Bookstore tent, and find your classmates and catch up on life. Cheer our athletic teams as they compete for Homecoming victories.

Crown Athletic Competitions

Cost: FREE for alumni, $6 for adults and $4 for ages 12-17.

Football @ 1:00 p.m.

Volleyball at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Soccer teams are away for the weekend.

Crown Regatta - 30 minutes after the football game

Cost: FREE   Location: Miller Pond

Will it float? Watch Crown staff and students compete for cash prizes as they attempt to race their homemade cardboard-and-duct-tape boats across Miller Pond.

8:00 p.m. - Comedy and Magic with Justin Flom

Family Weekend Event

Cost: FREE   Location: Student Center/Coffee Shop

After a big day outside, grab a coffee and relax with family and friends in the Student Center as Justin Flom entertains with a unique brand of humor and illusion that is sure to memorable.

Parents!  Attend an area church with your student and plan your own "quality time" on campus or visiting area attractions like an apple orchard, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Mall of America, or the Como Zoo.  So much to do, so little time!

Homecoming Bookstore

Saturday, September 24

11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Location: Tent next to the football field and opened inside too!
Be sure to stop by Crown’s Bookstore and tent for sales on t-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, thermal mugs, Crown merchandise, and much more. Stop in an see Crown's new logo on your favorite comfort ware items.

Family Weekend

Parents! Spend the weekend with your son or daughter and enjoy Homecoming activities together.

Homecoming is not only a great opportunity to spend time on campus, but is a great time to visit your son or daughter's local church, go shopping together at the Mall of America or visit other attractions in the Twin Cities.

For out-of-town parents, be sure to ask for a "Crown College rate" at local hotels.
