Testimony

I was raised a pastor's family, and at an early age came to faith in Jesus Christ and sensed his call to full-time service as a missionary. In high school I came to understand my need for a total dependence on God the Holy Spirit for my personal life and for service in this world. While in college I took my first steps in intercultural service through student-led ministry teams and short-term missions. All of this was preparation for a life spent in God's service.

Biography

My wife Chris and I served in Hong Kong for 19 years under the Christian and Missionary Alliance. During that time we worked with gospel radio for evangelism, discipleship and Christian nurture, worked in church and leadership development in China and used ESL, special needs education, and relief and development to meet felt needs within society in a wholistic ministry for Christ. We sense God's call for us to be at Crown as a base of ministry to the world, to communicate a passion for God and his mission, and to equip a new generation of leaders for global engagement and impact.
