fold faq Nanny for two girls- Lake Minnetonka. Ready for FUN?

  • QUALIFICATIONS:Prefer experience with small children (my children are ages 3 and 4). Must have references. Prefer teaching/nursing majors. Care to start July 1st - August 31st. Days off: July 4th (possibly 3rd) July 21st July 28th/29th
  • DUTIES:I have two girls ages 3 and 5. They are very well mannered and sweet. You will love them!! :) They love to be outside and we are located across from Highway 7 in Excelsior, which has a large public beach access to Lake Minnetonka and large park. The girls would love to go there. We have many other parks in our area and Deephaven as well. Whether outside or inside, they like to be active, do arts and crafts, play dolls and games. Come prepared to be (and have) fun, active and use your imagination! Light food prep (lunch/snacks/dinner prep) will be required. License and clean driving record. Car seats will be provided. This is for four days per week (days could change, but we would know the dates ahead of time) Being able to be flexible is key.   • QUALIFICATIONS:You are committed, caring individual with a strong interest in healing young lives through artistic expression and at least 18 years of age.
  • DUTIES:We train volunteers to be Mentors in teams of 4-6 who meet with groups of youth at one of our 23 partner agencies across the metro and surrounding suburbs. Mentors facilitate a weekly, one hour session of creative arts activities to these youth. Mentors can select their preferred age group (3-18 years old), time of day, and location for their mentorship experience. Mentors lead projects for children that incorporate painting, writing, dance, drama, music, photography, and other art media. We strive to offer children opportunities to develop healthy relationships with adults, increase their sense of self-esteem, and learn new ways to communicate through artistic expression. Because the youth we serve often have instability in their lives, we strive to provide them with mentors committed to the program for one year. Training, curriculum, art supplies, and on-going support of the mentor experience is provided by Free Arts Minnesota Staff.
