Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations to include administrative support for pastors, staff and volunteers.
  • Coordinate and organize church correspondence and communication/informational materials.  This includes but is not limited to congregational letters and e-mails, service bulletins, certificates, church newsletters, and bulk mailings.
  • Manage member database and track all changes in member/visitor status.  Prepare reports as needed.
  • Update website content to ensure accuracy and current information.

·         Manage master calendar and coordinate facility usage.

·         Oversee and order office and church supplies. 

·         Prepare poster, flyers, advertising and other forms of communication.

·         Seasonal and holiday event coordinator.

  • The front-line person for screening calls, emails and walk-ins.

·         These duties and responsibilities will undoubtedly require adjustments over time as the ministry circumstances change.  All job descriptions of the church are subject to alterations should the Leadership Team or Pastoral Staff deem it necessary.

 

Evaluation

There will be a formal job appraisal done at the three month and six month period.  After this initial period a formal job review will be conducted annually.
