QUALIFICATIONS: Requires technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and workstation support for multiple users. Must understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, networking and accessory equipment. Requires experience with PC workstation equipment. DUTIES: Act as software support to the church staff, providing technical assistance to Coordinating Team, Program, Pastoral, and administrative staff. Respond to user requests for service and determine nature and extent of support needed. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software used throughout the church. Respond to end user support requests in person or over the phone. Investigate problems and determine resolution. Train users in start-up, network access, email access, church policies and procedures for network resources and use therein. Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the operation and application of standard software applications and a working knowledge of a wide variety of commonly used hardware and other software applications. May provide supervision, training, and technical guidance to volunteers assisting various ministries with their work. Perform other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
