Ideal for a college student or older single female. Position includes free room and board, meaning all utilities and meals are free. Facility is located in North Minneapolis and has a safe security system and parking. Job requires a female who can be firm yet show grace. Ideal candidate is able to make decisions and resolve conflicts wisely. The person who is hired for this position will ideally have some experience (volunteer or career) with substance abusers, homeless ministry, prison ministry, families and children, and/or families in domestic violence. However the right person with no experience will be considered! Schedule flexibility is a plus!
  • DUTIES:MetroHope Recovery Ministries is a 501c3 organization that has been working for over 85 years to provide real help and lasting hope to people in recovery in a grace-filled environment through Jesus Christ. Healing House helps empower up to 20 women and their children to break the cycle of addiction and homelessness successfully through spiritual, educational, and emotional stability. This is a part-time live-in position to supervise evening and/or weekend programming at a Minneapolis-based Christian recovery center for women and their children. Position is 20-25 hours per week at $8:00 an hour (plus free room and board) Hours are flexible but primarily 2-3 mornings per week from 6:30-8:00am (supervise breakfast and document medications) and flexible shifts on: Friday night, Saturday and/or Sunday, and possibly one week-night shift (4pm-11:30pm).
